KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 12 (Bernama) -- A road closure for 34 nights will be implemented at Jalan Bukit, near Kajang KTM station starting Dec 12 until Jan 15, 2016 to facilitate the lifting of steel beam for the construction of Kajang MRT station.

MMC-Gamuda KVMRT (PDP) Sdn Bhd in a statement today said the closure would begin at 12am to 5am and motorists from Bandar Kajang heading to Taman Bukit Kajang Baru were advised to make a u-turn in front New Era College before joining Jalan Semenyih.

"Motorists from Taman Bukit Kajang Baru heading to Bandar Kajang are advised to take the SILK Highway and make a u-turn before Bukit Kajang toll plaza to go to Bangi," the statement said.

It also said that there would be a continuation of the second phase of the Traffic Management Plan for Persiaran Surian at Mutiara Damansara in the vicinity of Surian Tower and Bandar Utama 4 residential area.

It said the road in front of Bandar Utama residences from the junction of Jalan PJU 7/1 to PJU 7/8 (Kota Damansara-bound) would be closed for 24 hours starting Dec 22 until Feb 29, 2016.

The closure was due to mobilisation of construction vehicles for related works for Mutiara Damansara MRT Station and Entrances.
